APEX/KPK V8.X Image Display Update

This update requires APEX V8.X, KPK V8.X, or KPK+ V3.X.

This update resolves an issue where some images with embedded profiles could not be displayed, and an issue where the PS12 Print Scanner would intermittently disconnect.

Installing the APEX/KPK V8.X image Display Update



IMPORTANT! You must install the software on each device.

1. Does “APEX V8.0”, “APEX V8.0.1”, “APEX V8.1.1”, “APEX V8.1.2”, “KPK V8.0”, “KPK V8.1”, “KPK V8.1.1”, “KPK V8.1.2”, “KPK V8.2”, “KPK+ V3.0”, “KPK+ V3.1”, “KPK+ V3.1.1”, “KPK+ V3.1.2”, or “KPK+ V3.2” appear in the lower left corner of the screen?

If yes, then continue with Step 2.

If no, then do not install this software!



2. From the Main screen of the Kiosk, touch:

• [Setup]. Enter the password if necessary.

• [Install Software]

3. Insert the CD into the CD drive, or insert the USB Thumb Drive into an available USB Port.

4. At “Software Installation”, touch [Check for Media].

5. At “Installation CD Detected”, touch [Install].

The Kiosk restarts and a backup occurs.

6. Remove and store the CD or USB Thumb Drive in the software wallet.

7. At “Installation Complete”, touch [OK].

8. Touch:

• [Continue]

• [Start Over]

• [Exit]
