"Everyday moments have a special kind of magic and meaning. Photography is a way to celebrate that magic and to highlight the small details in life that are often overlooked. It's about finding joy in the simple things and sharing that joy with others." - Myisha

"The photography I prefer is probably the one I don't share, the more intimate moments of life, the blurry portraits and landscapes that constitutes my own folklore. I strive to convey emotions and I embrace whatever we believe might make in imperfect image - a light leak, an unexpected motion blur. To me, it is often there that the memories are stored, in all the cracks that let the light shine through.
I always carry a camera, whether it's a point & shoot in my pocket, a medium format in my hiking backpack, or even just my phone. I can go entire weeks without inspiration, and will then sometimes go through all my books or go to museums to try to find a remedy. Sometimes I will just wait it out... Instagram is not always a good help.
Either way, photography always seems to find its way back to me." - Lorine
Pete Rezac @prezac @prezac_C41 is a film photographer originally from Pierre, South Dakota but he has called Reno, Nevada his home for the past 29 years. Images shot on #400tx.
"I’m a portrait photographer who still loves to create my work with variety of film cameras, but TriX 400 is my go to film for everything! I love the traditional grain structure and how it responds to my choice rating it at 160 ISO. I process all my own film, scan, and print in house. So I’m in full control of my photographs from the time I open the film packaging to final photograph on paper.
My collection of photographs includes mostly portrait work made with Hasselblad 500cm, Mamiya RZ67 & 645AFD - I also do an occasional portrait work on 35mm with Nikon F100. My other passion seems to be photographing ceilings of buildings - it’s amazing what’s above our heads. My go to cameras for the ceiling work are Mamiya 6 and Nikon F100." - Pete
