🎞️120 Kodak Professional TriX 400
"For this project I preferred to use medium sensitivity film because I photographed with a medium format camera handheld, without a tripod, and the higher sensitivity allowed me to use faster shutter speeds. I chose Kodak Professional TriX film and it proved to be a perfect choice for the excellent rendering of details, especially developing it with D76 1:1 dilution and for its ability to give depth to black and white tones."
"My name is Giancarlo Pradelli and I’m a professional photographer since 1996. These pictures are part of my first book Aeolian Islands published by Five Continents Editions in 2005."
"I travelled around all seven Aeolian Islands and I caught the mood through the light, the contrast of light and shade, the interplay of the patterns, the sensation of the wind, the space and, of course, the sea. But in particular it is time that makes these islands so special, because it seems to not exist, or at least one does not notice its passing. The surface of the islands is scarred by volcanic eruptions that occurred hundreds of thousands of years ago and in their primitive beauty, the islands enrapture and thrill the visitors."

"My name is Arman and I am a hobby photographer from Toronto, Canada. My photography journey started in the early 90s and for over a decade I shot colour negative film before transitioning to fully digital for twenty years! Like most folks I live a busy and fast-paced life, and for a while I had been contemplating how to slow down."
"Few months ago, while clearing out a storage unit, I came across an unmarked box. When I opened it, there was a beautiful medium format camera smiling at me. It was the sign I was looking for. I immediately walked to my local camera store and picked up a roll of Portra 400. Since then I’ve been wandering the streets of Toronto (often in the evenings and nights), taking time to observe, patiently compose shots, and more importantly enjoying my surroundings … all thanks to Portra film!"
